Van Furniture are proud to offer the only U shape bed kit for Transporters with a larger drawer system, their 1000mm drawers (LWB) and 700mm drawers (SWB) are constructed from 15mm ply with laminated ply drawer front, supplying large drawers with heavy duty 80kg drawer runners. The drawer system is designed to pull across the sliding door for easy access inside or outside of the van.

This set up has been designed for the VW T5/6 however will fit into a selection of other similar sized vans with some scribing and modification.

Ply material information.

Our plain ply  kits are a budget entry level material designed for self build customers. These will require sanding to the faces and edges, finishing can be 1 - 2 hours to get a high quality finish. These are designed to be oiled, wrapped, painted or can be left plain for a natural Scandinavian look. For a higher quality ply please check out our Laminated Ply Kits or our Buffalo / Hex board with Birch ply
